Internship

Whether it's a mandatory internship during your studies, a voluntary internship, BOGY or BORS, a retraining internship, or a trial internship: there’s no such thing as just bringing coffee or doing photocopying. You’ll gain a deep understanding of the IT industry and be involved from the very beginning.

Working students

Our working student positions offer maximum compatibility with your studies and flexibility. You decide when and how many hours you want to work, whether remotely or on-site in the office. You’ll be directly involved in our daily operations and support us with various tasks.

Bachelor and Masther Thesis

You can write both your Bachelor's and Master's thesis with us, enjoying full flexibility and a dedicated supervisor. We don’t want to say goodbye after that: we always aim to offer permanent positions to our thesis students once they’ve completed their studies.

The Talent Hub provides you with the structure to engage in real internal projects and enhance your skills. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, collaborate through pair programming, and get hands-on experience with the tech stack. This allows you to develop a strong understanding of the developer’s toolkit, preparing you perfectly for your role in customer projects.

YoungTalents@Novatec

Our YoungTalents Community brings together all our working students, interns, trainees, and dual students. Through coffee calls and the Slack channel, our Young Talents can engage in discussions on any topic and support one another.

We know what you're capable of and want to elevate our projects to a new level with you. Our students assist us in researching innovative topics and play an active role in the projects. You will also contribute to driving forward cutting-edge technologies.

Individual further development

Personal development is very important to us! The Novatec Academy offers tailored training opportunities in areas like communication, methodology, and much more, while the Talent Hub also provides additional training courses. Your experienced team will always be by your side, coaching you and helping you stay up to date with the latest IT trends.

Your perfect start

Whether it's an internship, a working student position, an apprenticeship, or a permanent role, your journey as a new Novatec employee begins with our two-day "Welcome Days." These events typically take place on-site at our headquarters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. During this time, you will gain exciting insights into various departments and receive all the information you need for a smooth start at Novatec. And most importantly: joint lunches and social gatherings give you the opportunity to network with other new hires as well as colleagues already working at Novatec!

As a student at Novatec in the field of IT security, I have the amazing opportunity to apply my knowledge directly in practice. I particularly appreciate working in the Security Department, where I can focus on application security within complex projects.
